SharePoint 2010 boundaries and limits of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010

SharePoint 2010 supports:
300 content databases per web application
250,000 site collection per web application.
10 application pools per web server.
Size of content database can be 200GB.:
In case of document archive scenario there is no limit on content database size.
There can be 60 million items including documents and list items in Content database.
SharePoint 2010 recommended 2000 site collections per content database, but that can be maximum of 5000 site collections.

Got Visual studio in Progrmes below in Visaul Studio Tools Select Visual studio Command Prompt
gacutil.exe -i “C:\Program Files (x86)\Telerik\RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX Q1 2010\Bin35\Telerik.Web.UI.dll”
Note:In the above command I have selected Bin35 ,You can select based on your requirement such as Bin 4 or 2.0

Cannot Connect to Configuration Database

Hi All, Few of our group members has got the issue "Cannot Connect to Configuration Database" as below

solution Goto All Programs->Sql Server 2008 R2->Configuration Manager or Tool->Sql Services 2008 R2 Service. Then you will see the SharePoint services State will be in Stopped mode ,Here you need to start and restart the central admin

Unable to Run Desinger Workflows

Hi all ,Few of of our blog members and some of the members in my Skype question me number of times on Designer work-flows. As when ever they add new item in the list workflow in unable to start,They are not able to run any workflow when they used designer work-flows .

Solution

*Add new user to u r PC\Laptop
* Allot the new user as Owner of the site
*Restart the System
*And add item in the list.And this time the work-flows get's run

Hi All, few days back when I open my SharePoint 2010 Site I got information as below,But I have genuine key installed

The trial period for this product has expired.
Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation.
Correlation ID: 6121d751-5f37-4ab0-9bbb-df56adeeae2e

In central admin go to "Central Admin" => Monitoring => "Review Rule Definitions" => click on "Trial period for this product is about to expire" rule under configuration and edit it. Uncheck the "Enabled" check-box.

Command To Convert dbf file into SharePoint 2010 Lit

Recently I have received the dbf data I need to get data into SP-list ,I worked hard to convert this I got a command i.e converts dbf file into sql and from sql using external data I brought into SP list below is the Command .Open the command prompt and run the below syntax

dbfcommander.exe -e
example:
dbfcommander.exe -e "D:\Data\customer.dbf" "D:\customer.sql"
